Lizia's story
Once upon a time…
June 2018
Cedric sleeps on his side and can’t hold his book properly. To solve his problem, he designs and prints a small object using a 3D printer. The first version of Lizia and born.
May 2020
Lucas, an avid reader and paper advocate, joins the project. Together, they develop over 200 prototypes to find the best version of Lizia.
July 2021
Lizia becomes a registered trademark. The project is getting bigger and bigger, the serious stuff is starting!
December 2021
Lizia wins her first competition and obtains funding to continue developing the project. The prototype is now finished. Two months later, a patent is filed to protect the invention.
May 2022
Following the success of Lizia with their friends and family, Cédric and Lucas decided to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Ulule. The success is immediate: more than 3800 pre-sales made in a few weeks.
